MILLSTREET Novelty Act inscribed their name on the Munster Superior Scór roll of honour after making a big impression with the adjudicators to light the outright spoils in the provincial showpiece hosted in Templemore, Co. Tipperary last Saturday blackness.
From a captivating performance in the GAA cultural orientated programme , Millstreet took detention of the much sought after prize amidst stiff competition to become the first Duhallow truncheon to savour outright glory in the discipline.
The Millstreet presentation titled "A Cork Indulgent of Welcome" offered topical discourse in a faultless production that enthralled the perspicacity attendance. Cast members featuring Steven O'riordan, James Kelleher, Rebecca Enright, Niamh O'mahony and Eily Buckley gained a heartening party from the full house. In doing so, Millstreet held off the stiff challenge provided by Kilmoyley(kerry), Borrisoleigh(tipperary) and Sixmilebridge(clare).
Elsewhere, Cork teams delivered masterful disposed to performances only to come up short from the overall prizes. John O'sullivan (St. John's) delivered a fit showing in the recitation category with overall honours going to Noel Joyce from the horde J K Brackens club.
