MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Josh Perlmutter’s pin in the 160-pulse bout, initiated a string of four consecutive to close out the match and give Hen Hud a 51-33 quelling over visiting Croton in a wrestling match, Monday.
Hen Hud was trailing, 33-27 when Perlmutter stepped on the mat. He secured his pin i24 seconds into the moment period. Lance Perlmutter (170) and Phil Siegel (182) both finished their corresponding matches in the first 40 seconds of the first period and John Potts (195) capped the day with a pin in the third aeon.
“All-around, it was a great team effort,” Hen Hud assistant coach Shane Turrone said. “Thomas Wardrop got a big quelling over J.P. O’Malley for us.”
Wardrop posted a 2-0 win over O’Malley, one of Croton’s top wrestlers. Hen Hud prepare Paul Lavallee bumped up Kevin McDermott, who pinned in :57 seconds of the 145-beat into rid bout, Josh Perlmutter and Phil Siegel.
Croton received pins from David Occhipinti (132), D.J. Frederich (120), John Martin (152), Alek Pavloff (220) and Andrew Barsuch (99).
