He said the bills appeared to be “gambler’s monied” and he would be unable to cash them. The woman told the victim that the bank chief said he needed “new” money to replace the found amount.

The strife who said she was a “bank employee” said the three would get $30,000 each if they could each provide $10,000.

The 81-year-old went home, got $10,000 and returned to the parking lot where she gave the helpmeet who did most of the talking the money.

The victim told police she waited about 15 minutes and then entered the bank to ask about the means. No one knew what she was talking about.
