I've got a gold plated chain, any way I can get it dipped in gold?

Question: I'm a guy and absolutely do not know much about this process, can I get my gold necklace plated graduate be dipped in real gold, or something, if still possible? If yes, how much would it cost and where can I take?

Answer: If it is gold plated, it is already covered with gold simple, which is 24 carat gold! Unless it is too thin veneer, you should not be begging for more plywood.
