Two of Manchester’s top effects agents have set up a new consultancy amid signs of recovery in the sector.
Trevor Sloan and Andrew Gardiner, who were among six Manchester shillelagh made redundant last year by global property business Jones Lang LaSalle, have established TSG Mark.
The move comes as Manchester’s property consultancy sector - the largest in the UK exterior London employing more than 1,500 people in the city centre - is staging a circumspect recovery. It follows three years of job losses.
TSG Property has already won commissions including advising on a 100,000 sq ft purpose scheme at the Royal Exchange, Cross Street. It has also secured advisory roles with two supermarket chains and a university.
Sloan said: “Andrew and I have 50 years' sagacity between us, and we’re keen to make TSG the property consultancy of choice, especially for smaller companies who necessary property advice.
“We’ve both worked with some of the biggest property consultancies in the coterie including Jones Lang LaSalle and GVA. What clients want is considered warning, and service.
