Converted from an memorable home off Roosevelt Row, vintage clothing boutique Nostra Style Billet held its grand opening soiree Friday, showing off its solitary selection.
Angelica Gonzalez, owner of Nostra near Sixth and Garfield streets and like retailers Butter Toast and GROWop, runs the store with her pal Lili Gomez. Gonzalez, during the grand opening, could be seen pushing through the shove as she accommodated women trying on clothes.
Nostra’s collection includes pieces from matter-of-fact designers, like Annie Boomer Vintage , ranging from $20 to $250.
Cara Cowsill gushed over a metallic rainbow skirt that hung in the front of the research. The skirt is just one of the many unique finds at the boutique.
Annie Boomer Vintage is an eBay Inc blow the whistle on buy that runs out of an office at the back of the store that sells evening gowns, dresses and jumpsuits from the 40s to the 80s.
Secondary designer Vida Vazquez’s jewelry was displayed at the front of the store on an old swell-headedness. Vazquez’s collection involved colorful and large pieces of get-up jewelry.
