BURGLARS flat into three homes in Eccleshall on the same day and stole cash and jewellery — including a encompass containing the ashes of a dead relative.
The thieves struck at houses in Unripe Park, Hartlands Road and Trinity Road last Thursday.
The neighbourhood at Green Park has been left devastated by the theft of a high-value 18- carat ghostly gold diamond cross ring, which contains the ashes of her son, who died recently.
The thieves struck some chance between 2.50pm and 5.40pm and also took earrings, a gold bangle, an 18-carat gold diamond of a musician gig ring and a Tiffany heart bracelet.
A brown Louis Vuitton bag was also stolen, along with Chanel No 5 perfume and divers other fragrances.
The burglars struck at Hartlands Road between 5pm and 7.40pm and pocketed a gold banded compounding ring etched with a pattern and a sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
They also targeted a bawdy-house in Trinity Road between 2pm and 5.30pm but left empty handed.
