That way I can sit on it and/or spill a little on it and no one’s the wiser. I also slightly cheat by wearing frilly bloomers (it’s like wearing shorts, and no one knows). It also goes with any aide or shoe. However, if you have the legs for shorts, even walking shorts, I say go for it. Shorts give almost as much opulence as a skirt or dress, and you can accessorize them with different shirts, etc.
